Thinking about going to Japan to volunteer my services . I hear that they don’t even have enough people to bury the dead , much less tend to their injured .Think I can find a hitch with DR’s witout borders . I think each and every redbubbler who is retired or has free time shoulkd check out what way they may be able to help .

I think that is a most noble and courageous thing to do,, My daughter In Laws family lives in Fuskishima, they did evacuate, were safe in Tokyo, we thought, but God love them they only left, to get food and supplies, then returned the next day to
help their friends and neighbors, they refuse to leave saying they won’t abandon their friends……….I am honored to have them as my family, I am honored that Japans people pull together as a nation that reaches out to one another and NOT EXPECT their government to save the day!
I am honored that the people of Japan have such dignity , and respect for one another and a willingness to
help each other and their country
But Yukie’s family told us not to come yet, there is not enough gas for us to travel, distribution of food is not getting where it should, there is confusion even for them as to what to do, but I am with you, so for now Yukie, (my daughter in law) is raising money so when we can, we will ship supplies and or go….bless you for all you will do and want to do….laura
