" They are ignored ".
Where ever you go they are ignored . The homeless are everywhere . But people just walk on by , as if the person did not exist . He was sleeping on the Seal Beach Pier . I finally woke him up and gave him my card and some cash . The wonderful thing today is that we met a young lady named Stacy . She was on the beach and be began to discuss the homeless . She is part of a group who help women who have been divorced and have nothing , get back on their feet . They prepare them on how to do an interview for a job , provide them with clothes and meals . We are going to get involved with her group.
Enjoy !

i remember sleeping on benches when i was homeless. i haven’t forgotten, don’t think i ever will.
one time when i was homeless in eugene oregon i had just awoken on a park bench to see some guy on his way to work. he didn’t stare down on me, but he did say good morning in a genuine way.
