To all who have read and commented on my work here at RedBubble, I offer my most gracious thanks. I have been a member for less than a month and have written quite a few short stories in that time. Although I’ve been writing articles on EzineArticles.com for a while now, I value the time and experiences I’ve gotten from you bubblers very much. I suspect you all are a very caring and thoughtful bunch of knuckleheads, and I love you all dearly.
Besides writing for Ezine, i’ve been working on a fiction novel about a pet theory of mine, the Mayan civilization was earlier and more extensive than is taught by modern-day archaeology. I believe that it stretched further south and east than is commonly believed. To what end? Well, that’s part of what the story’s about. Although I only have twenty-two chapters so far, I foresee the completion in several months. And now that I’m a proud bubbler, I intend to release it here first. Whether or not I become rich and famous(there’s a hoot!) from the publication of the novel, i will strive to always be the humble appreciator of the work of my fellow bubblers. In less than a month, I believe I have grown much from the exposure to the work of a super-talented bunch of artists of all kinds. For that I thank you all.
I must take a short hiatus (a few days at most) to sort out the questions I have about the volume of work I’ve produced and whether I’ve abused the privilege by releasing it too often. I feel that I might be a bit greedy. I hope I haven’t, but I’ve bubblemailed a couple of my group hosts to inquire about it. I’ll let them be the judge. If it turns out that I have, I’ll offer my sincere apologies. I only meant to entertain. I don’t apologize for the subject of my work as I have always strived to stay within the limits defined by my groups. There is only one controversial work I’ve submitted that is questionable and i’ve bubblemailed my host about that too. Pulp Noir, as I see it, within the limits defined by the front page of the site, is a wide open category with a great future if seen for what it can be. I hope others look forward into the future of it as I have. There is much to see if looked at through adult eyes. I just pray that I’m adult enough for it. But each of us must be the judge of that. My thoughts and prayers go with Red Bubble and also for the girl with such painful back trouble. She knows who she is. I also know that all of you will say a prayer for her too. Thanks one and all. Thank you for your kind words. I’ve become inspired by Red Bubble and it’s many and varied artists. As soon as the creativity burn wears down a little, I’ll get back to working on the novel. I hope it lives up to your expectations. JH
