Sunlight pours through a high window, illuminating the old chapel in the Castillo de San Marcos, located in St. Augustine, FL. The Castillo was built in 1672 to protect and defend Spain’s claims in the New World.

A very early European New-World building. Benches look like they’d be hard on the bum after any length of time. Very cool pic.
