Gaillardia pulchella, Asteraceae (Aster Family) Common names: Indian Blanket, Firewheel, Blanket Flower. A butterfly attracting wildflower indigenous to most of North America east of the Rockies. It thrives in full sun with dry, sandy conditions and grows from 1-3 feet in height.
