So, who’s interested in helping me put together the next one?
I’m looking at a city that isn’t Melbourne. Sydney would be pushing it. I’m liking Brisvegas or Perth.
Timing will depend on the location but it’d be likely to be between June and October 2011.

Between June and August is, historically, our driest time, warm sunny days and cool to cold nights. The wind usually kicks up into westerlies sometime in August, and then September brings warmer nights and a little more rain. Sadly, the climate seems to have switched a bit lately….although we still had a MUCH drier winter than spring…

Yep the westerlies usually hit Brisbane the week of the Ekka, which is sometime around August 14.

Anywhere away Vic/Tas would be good given the southern states traditional wet weather between June & Oct (ok, maybe not so much rain in the last couple of years).
