Candy Wax Cutie is a Wax Minds Production coming from the mind of Oliver Ponce, and along with a team of film industry professionals combining movie magic with digital photography. What started out as a creative outlet has evolved into media events encompassing live Photography, Hair, Make Up, and Fashion Shows. 2010 was kicked off with our first show for Alternative Entertainment at Capital City in Hollywood and then we teamed up twice with Mad Girl Productions for “Sugar Art and Fashion Show” and have had the honor of being invited to do our own show at the Celebrity Vault in Beverly Hills. Landing recognition from WorldNews.com, 944.com, FashionWeekly.com, KalamariKastle.com and GossiBooCrew.com, “Tinsel Tokyo” magazine and a video article with Chevey-cruz-arti.com. Candy Wax Cutie is a Wax Minds Production, we figure we can stop our world for a frame and capture a cinematic moment.From film to fashion, and stills to motion, here at Wax Minds we can do it all ! With 10 years as film industry professionals we have crossed over with fashion entrepreneurs to create “Candy Wax Cutie”. Candy Wax Cutie was created in 2008, when 3 friends got together for a photo shoot using cinematic movie light’s with no strobe photography, influenced by photographer Gregory Crewdson. Now we are a strong team of 12, that seeks bigger and greater creative challenges. We have gone on to work with, Affliction Clothing, Zaxcom Pro Audio, 2nd City Comedy, and Pop Star Kettle Corn, doing still photo’s, commercials, instructional videos and graphic arts for these clients. We are seeking new ideas and welcome your team, and ours to push creativity.
