The end of a season and the beginning of a new one, Death and Life following each other in an endless spiral.

A great source of inspiration. Death here being represented by this woman losing her “leaves”. The inevitable end of summer attacking life like a vicious cancer.
Then, there are the colours of the seasons that mean a LOT to me (even Winter and its icy colours outside and the warmest ones inside homes). Here the painting deal with the departure of Summertime.
I’m surprised that I (often) use the brightest colours when my paintings deal with death! That’s a sign, a most positive one me think ;-)
