Bronze sheet of the archaic period. Probably cladding. Depicts two Centaurs burying the leader of the Lapiths, Caeneus, as they hit him with uprooted trees. Immortality conferred by the gods did not save him. ~5th century BC. Archaeological Museum of Olympia.
