Starry Night
By C:unknown
As we look up at the moon and stars gaping down upon us
We think, “What do they know?”
Do they frown down upon us?
Do we or they have a fallacy for the world around one another?
Must we imply that others are different or the same?
Only the angels know why.
As others cry and look up at the sky they ask,
“Why were we put here? Why on this planet? Why now? Why give us life?”
God only knows.
Through the pain and the agony,
We find a light in our soul that never goes out no matter how dim.
Through the joy of tormenting others we find them in pain. But the world is not just filled with pain but also with joy and pleasure.
The world is also filled with love and silence.
Love is strong.
It’s like a million titanium chains are around two living beings. But hate can fill us too.
But the love of another person can destroy it.
So as you look up at the moonlit sky filled with stars,
Remember they and I and you know something, too.
