I’m an environmental portrait photographer specializing in artistic child, family and pet portraits using only natural lighting. Rather than the typical “cheesy” portraits, I enjoy capturing the essence and individuality of my subjects by allowing them to just be themselves and turning their moments into memories. “Life, Love, Laughter…Click, a Moment Captured.”
My background is in web/graphic design, and photo restoration and retouching which I have done since 1997. Additionally, I also enjoy drawing portraits in charcoal. Having been raised in a foster home and never really having many family or childhood photos to look back upon, I became obsessed with photos when I was a young girl. Being inspired by the birth of my son, and my husband’s insistence, I decided to turn that obsession into a career – and CandidHams Photography by Lovella was born.
