And then, there is the chance that deeper scrutiny, which reveals structure and sequence, will heighten affection and care. There is the possibility that the existence of a pattern, once discovered, should grant the finder more joy than did only the distantly viewed whole.
After all, I never realized how many eyes, how many tiny complexities, cover the face of a fly until I saw it magnified. And so even the lowliest of creatures bear evidence of brilliant creation.
So I will rest that when the whole is viewed apart from structure, good. And when structure is viewed apart from the whole, good. But when both are considered, very good.
