A great series! Must be a fascinating place to visit – a peek into Canada’s past!
It’s a really interesting site. I work as a tour guide there. It doesn’t qualify as a museum (and thus doesn’t receive gov’t money), although the focus is on history (the birth of the oil industry in North America, which happened at Petrolia). It includes a working oil field with wells that have been running since the 1860’s, and also has a boom town village (in the background of the picture).
