I think you do a good job of capturing this. I grew up in an environment where people grew up, got a job, got married or went into the military and worked until they died. If they were lucky they lived long enough to collect Social Security. The rewards of doing the right thing and working hard. Many end up getting stuck in Nursing Homes which to me is worse than death.
Yep. Same here. I am one of the ones trying hard to break out of the cycle. Very hard. It’s like you’re born in hole and you spend your whole life trying to dig yourself out, but you just get dug in deeper. Glad you appreciate the image. My dad is the model.
