Photography has been a real hobby of mine for about 7 years now. But, I’ve been taking photos for years since I was a kid.

Until 2009, and most of my work here, has been done with negative or transparency film using my simple Pentax MX50.

Some even done with a digital (or even analogue gasp) point and shoot… sometimes, you just jinx that shot..!

In 2009, I got a Canon 450D and sometimes I’ll sit in front of the computer to alter my work… but not for hours. So, what you see is pretty much what you get with all my work.

I’ve worked as an events photographer for nightclubs and websites in the past. And have even had a few shows – some more successful than others.

One of the most successful and enjoyable was an exhibition as part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2008.

I wish I had more time to take photos and get out there and do the art and ideas that I have… but lately I’ve been so busy with work (research scientist) and studying (travel agent) I barely have time to sleep, let alone get out there to take night shots, set up props, go to shoots…

I’m currently waiting on the delivery of my first two Lomo cameras, and can’t wait to get back to film..!

I like less conventional work, ideas and images. Macro and abstract. Modern architecture is interesting. However, most of my work recently has been taken on holidays both overseas and interstate.
