House Wren – Troglodytes aedon
I am smaller than a sparrow. My song is sweeter and more melodious. It’s hard to tell us apart; who is female, who is male. Have you ever sexed a bird? I carry my tail high because I am a proud little wren. I’m often observed in woodlands, city parks and backyards. I love Colorado and visit May through September. I especially love the person that feeds us mealworms under the carport.
