Black-Billed Magpie – Pica pica
The magpie will always display a striking appearance. Boldly marked in black and white, its plumage glimmers with blue, green, and purble in the strong light. A large bird of 19 inches with much of the length being it its long tail. A year-round resident of the Colorado foothills.

Wonderful shot! He’s a beauty…looks kind of related to the gackle, I think, at least in the face. Love the black and white coloring and that very long tail!
Thanks Barb. They can be a piggy when it comes to eating up all the Sunflower seeds. Barb
