I was caring for the farm animals and critters for a week while my friends went to California. By the time the week was over, I had gained the confidence of the raccoons (to a certain degree) through feeding them am and pm. When they got used to me, they followed me and got pretty close.

Thanks Dennis, I farm-sat for a week at this Kestrel Farm and I had to feed all the critters. By the time the week was over, they were following me around. Kind of scary.

Thanks Lance, you wouldn’t believe all the raccoons that came out to be fed from under the decks around two sides of the old farm house.This is an old farm and the decks needs redoing. By weeks end I was counting more then I can remember.

These little guys are absolutely adorable! When I used to visit Yosemite, they would curl up in the sinks in the restrooms for their night’s sleep.
