This image is an HDR image taken of inside the Calgary Fairmont Palliser hotel. The lobby is Grand and inviting.
Taken with a Nikon D700 (Nikkor 16-35mm lens), 16mm @ f/4 with varying shutter speeds (to achieve 7 exposures -/+ 1 EV), processed in photomatix and silverefex pro.
Love this – I got a similar shot at one of the Grand Mansions at St. Simons Island off the coast of Georgia this past week – just didn’t know what to do with it though!! It kind of deviated from my usual mountain scenery LOL!
