Inveresk Tram Sheds
This is where my university is located. It’s built into the old tram sheds at Inveresk, Tasmania. Great place to find inspiration.

I can’t believe this is where you go to uni! It reminds me of something out of a Tim Burton movie – such high walls and the darkness everywhere. It’s so atmospheric and perfect for halloween ; )

What a perfect B+W photograph !
Love the heavy filter treatment, composition and subject.
What an eye ! So well seen, proportioned. Who needs color !!
I am really loving yr work, Cameron.
I like yr heavy, brutal treatment of yr B+W photo’s. Do you just use digital or do you head to the dark room on occasion ?? Reminds me of my X partners style of photographic printing. He was big on the 5 ( RED ) filter too. Very similar subject matter as well. Bit scary actually ….......... ?? Trying to get him to put up a profile. Put him on to you if i succeed.
Great WorK !!

Thanks Sarah, I only use digital. In fact that’s how I began with my artwork. About 8 years ago I was studying photography but I really hated working with all the chemicals and could never remember how to do it all. I asked my teacher at the time if I could go digital and he said “go for it” and I haven’t looked back.
I really enjoy that rustic grainy old style photography, but now days everything is about being clean, perfect and pretty so I basically use Photoshop as a means to create the feel that I want.
thanks heaps :)

Thats a great story ! No wonder yr so good at what you do now. Chemical process always bothered me too ! There were some old skool tricks, like vinegar for stopper and some company came out with a whole range of organic mediums !? Never tried em. Was out of the dark room by then. I did try the vinegar though and it worked fine ! Ummm the grains of OLD PROCESS photography. Something about it, makes me want to get back in the dark room !? I do love all this new technology, but hey! Is it body damage from the chemicals or the radiation, posture and eye damage from the computer screen ?? Every trade has it’s down falls. All we can do is try and limit the effects and change the process’s ! I LoVe process, reckon thats where it’s @, like that about yr work and what you say about it in yr blurb. Keep up the awesome processing Cameron, LoVe yr style and yr work !! i’ll stop clogging up yr comments dept now.
See You round, like a bubble !
