Superstitiously Divine

Oh man I’ve been dying to work on one of my illustrations lately. In between all the experimenting with my video art and everything involved with my Uni major project, it feels really good to sit down and work on one of these.
The title comes from the lyrics in a song called Unstoppable by Mako, written by Declan O’Shea. The song is one of my all time favorites, beautifully written with a strong emotive undertow that carries through the track.
My thanks to Declan for writing such a great song. It’s very inspiring to me.

    Beatiful work – not a fan of Dave McKean, by any chance? I can see shades of his work in this (a good thing, IMHO) Love the fragility you’ve managed to convey inthe fronds of his hair and the way in which his stance really sells the notion that he’s standing in the face of something quite powerful.

    Love and admire your work ..
    I was blessed, privileged and honoured to attend an ‘evening talk/ showing of his work ’ with Dave Mckean few weeks ago in Rye.. exceedingly inspirational avec humour ..he was also exhibiting at Rye Gallery …still is actually … love him
    and his work .. his lives up road! ...
    You obviously have great talent and pathos … Bravo!!!
