thanks Ash, yeah it’s really just an experiment to freshen my perspective a little. I had an itch to do something like this for a while.

I like the way this looks, but compared to your other style, I think it lacks a richness. If you could keep both styles working concurrently, I would say keep experimenting. This is a lovely piece. However, I think that moving this direction entirely loses something. This is a good illustration, but I find myself taking your other work more seriously.

thanks sadeyedartist, I totally agree, about the richness. My usual style took around 8 years to get to where it is now, sometimes I like to experiment with a different direction just so I don’t feel mundane. cheers.

It’s got pink in it !!? Jokes. Bit softer than yr other stuff but still as striking and wonderfully, beautifully sad and still dark : ] So don’t worry, yr not loosing it and going all soft ….... I’m joking …..
