When we are at Elwood or St.Kilda, the bayside inner city suburbs of Melbourne, Point Ormond is one of my reference points. This day was overcast with intermittent breaks of patches of clear sky. Once again, I used the Diana F to capture this sentinel on the hill.
I have *always wanted to take a photo like this of this place. I go there at least once a week. The colours are really Magriette-esque… Spectacular!
I checked out your link and I had a look at all the photo’s of the funny old camera’s…some of them are so damn cute! Im going to poke around at the chapel St Bazaar and see what they have there.
Thank you all, I appreciate the feedback, you are very kind. Good luck at the Bazaar Melody, Camberwell Market is also an option. Thanks Barb, I took this shot with a “Diana F” another plastic camera like the Holga, originally made in the 60’s by the “Great Wall Plastic Company” in Hong Kong! I have a list (with pictures of each camera) on my site of the different toy cameras I use: http://www.theplasticlens.com/blog/?page_id=15

This is an awesome shot – love the simplicity, colours and curve of the hill… again the dark edges give it that beautiful quality.

So very strange and with such a funny camera – I think you a bit quirky! In the best possible way – with talent.
