Chalk
My children had this “monster tub” of chalk and I was contemplating it one day, as you do. On impulse I grabbed my Polaroid SX-70, popped a close up filter on it and photographed the chalk from above. Looking at everyday objects from different perspectives often produces interesting results!
The polaroid borders have been cropped from this shot.

I like the feel of this piece. The detail of the bubbly looking chalk in the middle as compared to the softness of the out of focusness of the rest of the image. And the pale colours really works with this style. Nice! :D
