24 hours at Rock Hollow
After sitting on a plane for 3 hours flying back from Sacramento, it was a pleasure to come home to Rock Hollow Lodge… our 10 acre refuge from the every day rat race.
For the three springs we have lived here, the main attraction and the reason we bought this property, is the rock holler’ or ravine that is approximately 100 feet from the back deck. This ravine is where our Oklahoma Rusty or waterf…
Olivesided Flycatchers of Rock Hollow Ravine
Ever since we moved in to Rock Hollow Lodge in Spring of 2006…
we’ve had numerous Olivesided Flycatchers living with us. 
We see them most of the year, mainly out in our backyard in the ravine, catching flying critters.
I have now found the sixth nest either in the ravine or on our back deck.
I believe I found a set of broken eggs from one of the nest.
I am still trying to figure out…
