This is a photo of the docks on Otsego Lake in Cooperstown, New York. Cooperstown is named after the father (the founder) of James Fenimore Cooper. Cooper is one of America’s first major novelists and grew up in this small community in Upstate New York. It is a tourist attraction now with numerous museums (including the Fenimore Art Museum and the National Baseball Hall of Fame).

snow in sepia – really charming work – and the composition is perfect

  • Thank you hsien-ku. I tried hard to make this work at many different angles. I like the outcome and I love sepia.
