A lovely portrait of your son Judith…I like the idea of this, taken by computer screen light. Title is great too…well done!
Judith Oppenhe... replied
Melanie you’re very sweet, thank you!
Wendy Slee
if I did not know he was focused on a computer screen, I would have thought this was a deep thought or meditative image….. very soulful and pensive…....
(but what a great way to capture a natural image without someone looking right at the camera – and the light works so well!)
Judith Oppenhe... replied
thank you Wendy!
Pip Gerard

Great portrait, Judith! You’ve captured something interesting about this guy. Was the cropping done “in camera?” I think I’d not have cropped so tight. But well done!
Judith Oppenhe... replied
Thank you for your comment David. The crop wasn’t quite as close in the camera, but I didn’t like a corner of the background once I uploaded it – it was distracting – so I cropped it a little closer to get rid of the distraction. If I knew PS better I’d probably have PS’ed it out. But for you to like it says a lot, and I appreciate it!

I still like it. And it would make a nice companion piece to my “Monica” ... both photos have wonderful emotion to them.
