Hello there, and welcome.
My name is Katie and I believe myself to be an artist.
I am 18 years old and currently in community college where I plan on going into the medical field.

I draw, write, and take photos.
I prefer graphite, but I also use charcoal as well.
I love to use color, especially vibrant, vivid ones.
I write poetry mainly, but I also write original stories and fanfiction as well, which can be seen at my dA.
I have a Deviant Art as well as this one, and on there I usually post my manga style artwork. I’m not sure if it qualifies to be on here.
So this shall be my professional website for my art.

I am a lesbian and have been with my girlfriend for a year now.
I am not one to hide who I am, please do not discriminate against me for who I love.
I am a deep thinker, although on some occasions, it just appears that I am a dumb blonde. And I hate that.

I live in Arizona, the state that never gets rain. Or cool whether.
I am a desert pansy, cold whether irritates me anyways. Although so does the heat. I guess I just can’t be pleased.
I am a bit of a messy person and at the same time, compulsively organized. I organize in my own way.

I am also a bit of a perfectionist, that I can not help.
I like that part of me when it comes to my art, it makes me feel as if I am improving with every art piece that I am working on.
I also have a bit of a procrastination problem. That is one thing that I AM working on.

I am a lover of books, movie, television, and other sorts of media.
My favorite genre is fantasy, I read books like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and A Certain Slant of Light.
I also am a bit of a nerd; I enjoy anime and manga.
Oh, and do not forget video games.

I work my hardest when I am drawing.
I try to challenge myself all the time, with poses, color, shading, etc.
