19 Jan 2008: I’ve replaced the original submission with one that is slightly revised. I was unhappy with the way the selected coloring blended with the desaturated area, so I tweaked it a bit to get a much more subtle transition. I also added a touch of gaussian blur to the desat area to pull the basket of squash forward a bit more. I think this one is way better, and is much closer to what I was originally going for….
