One of the hot springs at Yellowstone National Park could well have been an abstract painting. The colors change appreciably with the sun passing overhead on a summer day.

I find that the hillside and sky portion of the photograph allow/even push one’s eye to feast on the hot springs. Thank you for note.
Among the photographs that morning, I like this one best with the upper third of the photograph showing the hillside remnants of a lush forest after a fire—which, at least for me, cause the eye to peruse more carefully the colors of the hot springs area. Thank you.
