Hi, Cheryl! This IS beautiful, and is a Columbine blossom. They’re spring flowering, and come in a variety of pinks, blues, yellows, whites, maroon and probably several more. They can be all of one color, or a bicolor. In fact, I have a painting of several of them here on RB called Shooting Stars. Do photograph some more of them, OK?! – Pat

  • Thanks Pat for all the information, I really appreciate the benefit of your vast knowledge. Thanks for the nice comment and for the fave!
