This little duckling got separated from his mother and was
hiding under a bush. When I approached to take a picture he kept trying to hide and eventually ran across the water and hopped on this lily pad in the middle of the pond. He stayed there until I left and when I looked back he swam back to shore. I thought he was so cute as if to say “I am safe here because you can’t see me on this lily pad”
