First and foremost, I’m an outdoor sports addict. I love backpacking, hiking, trail running, peak bagging, and pretty much anything that gets me outdoors and in the mountains as much as possible.

Many years ago I bought my first point and shoot camera with the intent of capturing the things I loved about being outside. I was disappointed that my pictures never really captured the moment I remembered, so I practiced on improving my technique and invested in some better equipment.

Now, photography is still a secondary activity to everything else I love, but I’m able to capture the moments that make the outdoors so appealing to me. I hope they appeal to you as well.
