Acrylic on canvas

apart from reminding me of those witnessing the newborn messiah, this makes me think of the first humans to experience the magic of fire, and the power of those able to start it.
Even thinking in evolution terms it amuses me to think that some ape somewhere was sitting grunting and picking fleas off his pals back when suddenly he thought “F**k this, I think I’ll go and start a fire.”

    An amazing piece,
i can actually see two faces, one front, one side (on left) and they appear to be gazing downwards at the first flame light which reflects its light up and outwards, dont know whether intentionally or not… you are so very talented ! it is really wonderful
