Acrylic on Canvas.

“And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land.” Ezekiel 34:29

The Hemp plant, also known as Cannabis, is miles in front of any other for its usefulness to humanity, we actually live in a unique century, in that it is the only century for millennia where the plant has not been freely utilised – from simple fishermen in ancient Galilee to mighty presidents of America, the plant has clothed, sheltered, fed and healed the generations. As a natural, superior alternative for everything from timber to plastic, it really could make a huge difference to deforestation, pollution, cancer. etc. unfortunately though, where there’s muck there’s brass, and lethal products from synthetic chemicals and fossil fuels mean billions of dollars to some very powerful people.

I’ll not rattle on about its thousands of uses, there are others more qualified and eloquent than me to express the plant’s qualities, if like me you’ve never heard the mind-blowing history and potential future of this plant then check this and this

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I saw this lol lol…but yes, you’re quite right in that the hemp plant is able to produce so many product including paper products and yet, it was the synthetic fibres that brought about it’s ruin all because one person produced it and knew that the greatest rival was hemp production. So…he found the ‘loop hole’ as we say and knew of the plant’s more dangerous chemicals it produces and the ‘other’ uses it has been known for and just like that it was eradicated.

There are small plantations around the world of the non chemical producing variety which is used for hemp products but certainly no where near the amount needed to save our forests or any of the other umpteen thousand problems we face. Tesla too brought about means that could have saved us many of our modern day dilemmas but again, the good was snuffed out by the many bad apples.

Makes your heart bleed sometimes doesn’t it? God continues to show us the way through such souls and yet…..mankind continues to follow the evil one. The saddest part is the great deception that neither exists! When you have a world that is functioning on those beliefs then what is God suppose to do?

But…He does hear our prayers….many disasters are prevented through the prayers of the faithful and He loves His children. Those are spiritual facts and food that we can digest and keep close to our hearts even when so much seems lost

  • lol Tahnja, i know, that leaf is a symbol that conjures up the wrong sort of imagery, i really am fascinated by the plant and the whole coorporate desperation to supress it, to think our impressionist inspirations painted with hempseed oilpaints on hemp canvas (canabis) or that henry ford built a car with hemp panels and ran it on hemp gasoline just flipped around my view of a plant.
its so true what you say spiritually, an uplifting message, we have bread of another sort to sustain us (in saying that i’m away to chew a handful of industrial hempseeds)
