Acrylic on Canvas

A view from the Norh-east coast of Ireland, looking across to the distant Mull of Kintyre in Scotland, a genetic memory in most Scottish blood i’d imagine. This spot is where the countries of Scotland and Ireland come closest. From the coastland of this beautiful part of Ireland, from Celtic times and onwards, many Irish folk left their beloved homeland to the misty hills across the sea to seek adventure or escape adversity.
