it does mate ..suppose i took on a mair scottish view ..after bruces death began the autmn years in scottish independence we were never realy the same after that i dont think …maybe a wee bit simplistic but ta for leavin it open

ooft aye joak love it mate, of course you’d get the bruce right aff, it wiz efter i added bruce instead o a random horseman it took on its ain life, and whit a spot on scottish analysis fur it. i totally agree bruce’s time wiz the last truly great time in oor history since the glory days o Pictland, cheers fur that. next time i’ll pass them by ye first mate, ye can tell me whit their a’ aboot : )

Just thinking about the Declaration of Arbroath today, and how the system of ‘democracy’ it outlined has never been realised—least of all now.

All must fall indeed! It reminds me off heroes of the past great, passionate and loyal to their cause; it may be distant autumn coloured memories but they still prevail vividly in this monochrome withdrawing society. Inspiring.

This is just stunning Matthew … The detail is incredible and I can appreciate the time taken for the gradation of colours – but what a result. Will spend quite some time looking at this. Well done for all your artwork!
