    ToastedGhost

Odd that acoustic music should generate such surrealistic thoughts
It reminds me of the work I used to produce before I went to art college
I loved it – The tutors hated it

  • Matthew Scotland replied

A sort of ‘Lucy In The Sky…’ for Oasis. Those insects wouldn’t be Beatles, would they? Back in the days when Liberty Caps still had their liberty.

  • Matthew Scotland replied

lol, i ‘m digging your libertarian fungal nostalgia, good shout with the beatles indeed : )

  • PennyEdwardes

    PennyEdwardes

Your talent is undeniable! I love the detail you put into each artwork….amazing stuff!

  • Matthew Scotland replied

thanks v much Penny, my desire to fill every inch of a page with detail is both a blessing and a curse, i find my artworks jealous and possesive beings, blank areas of paper cry out to be involved in the creation.

  • Mylojs

    Mylojs

Awesome piece… I always sit down, and want to put something like this together but then nothing comes out..

  • Matthew Scotland replied

ha i know what you mean M, this one just fell into place after many many crumpled attempts were sent over my shoulder in an intense period of mushroom fuelled drawing obsession, cheers for your comment

    Chelsea Cooper

hey, can relate to your emotion of lack of depth in the music industry. Am a fan of detail and b&w. Mushrooooooooooms, Chels

  • Matthew Scotland

    Matthew Scotland

thanks Chels, i see by your lovely work your shared love of detail in the ol’ B&W, and yes the pitiful conformity and lack of imagination in much of music, may the shrooms be with you : )

  • Nick Ford

    Nick Ford

    Top notch!!!!!

Love the clouds. Big fan of the b/w detail ….. ~(and shrooms!!!!!!

  • Matthew Scotland replied

thanks Nick – yes its a lovely process building up the layers of ink, and oh yes the shrooms do help in losing oneself in the world being created
