Albuquerque, UNITED STATES

My name is Caitlin Padilla, I am a native New Mexican, and have also spent much of my childhood in northern California. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico. I am a special education elementary school teacher and currently teach in Albuquerque. I married the love of my life in 2004. My work continues to grow and change as my experiences and philosophy take shape. I work in acrylic, pastels, ink, charcoal, and printmaking. The subject of my work encumpases chaos theory, fractals, micro/macro theory, and existentialism. I have recently focused on the applied relationship of the golden spiral and nature. My work is constanly evolving as I learn and grow myself.

what am i doing?
the worst thing to do is make me justify me actions, make me answer to you. when did this become a competition? when did it become about making you happy, meeting your approval, shouldn’t i approve before and above all? i dont understand why this is. if i am to focus on my work, let me focus. don’t have me justify my actions for you benefit. leave me be and see what develops.
