Beautiful Pueblo III site ca. AD1200 in southeast Utah, USA.. Plastered wall in geometric patterns. If you look closely you can see the row of circles above the triangles. The bumpy mortar on the left hand wall is actually from fingerprints where the builders pushed the mud into the cracks.
Every site I go to I see these small pieces that remind me of those that lived and died in this place. How beautiful it must have been.
“Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting: The soul that rises with us, our life’s star, Hath had elsewhere its setting, And cometh from afar.” —William Wordsworth
