That is one of Al Holbert’s old cars. He ran the Porsche’s for a big chunk of his career with the culmination being the development of the Porsche 956/962, which was one of the winningest cars in motorsports. He was one of only 2 drivers to ever win more than one (3 total) 24 Hours of Le Mans (Hurley Haywood being the other driver). He was killed in a plane crash in Sept of 1988.
He was a true gentleman and one of the best drivers the sport has ever known.
