    G’day Kurt,

I remember way back in my boyhood that these were the cars which stopped people in their tracks any time anyone saw them on the streets of Newcastle, NSW, Australia.

You have done a great job with this one mate.
For a start the subject you chose is a real ripper and your great point of view shows it off extrememy well and makes it all the more interesting and gives it all the more impact.
Add to that great lighting/exposure/processing, good focus and depth of field, good contrast and vivid colour and this Ford is a real winner!

  • Kurt Golgart replied

Ya know, that’s why I love to shoot cars. People have memories of these things. They’re like a familiar smell that just evokes memories and emotion. Dennis, thanks so much for your critique and comments; they’re sincerely appreciated.

These beautiful cars (‘50’s- ‘60”s) and the music that went along with them make the whole era so special.

  • Kurt Golgart replied

Thanks Dyle. For sure the 50s and 60s were special – most particularly the music. But for sheer class and style I like cars of the 30s.
