I am a retired mathematics lecturer at The Institute of Technology, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland. I have taken up photography only in recent years with the advent of Digital photography. I like taking pictures of striking landscapes, cityscapes, architecture and unusual structures that dont normally immediately spring to mind in relation to photography, such as electrical/telephone wiring which often almost form a roof over our streets. I amnow using a Nikon D90 digital SLR and I hope to take better and better pictures as I getused to this camera.
I like travelling, and over the past few years have done quite a bit, giving me many subject oppurtunities.
