The last few days were beautiful here in the midwest! The temp was about 60 degrees (F) all week, the snow had melted, the land had thawed, and it seemed like spring had finally decided to settle in. It was a false alarm, though, because it snowed all night last night and the scenery is once again all white and slushy :(
Fortunately, I was able to grab a few shots while the weather was nice :)
This is so dream-like, the colors waking from a long-winter’s-nap. Dreaming is like a transition from sleeping toward waking. The fuzzy catkins appear shy, but are bold as explorers into the unknown of springtime. Another telling portrait from Ms CG.
That’s exactly how I felt when I saw them! They do look shy, but I felt like they were as eager as the rest of us to feel spring’s warmth :) This was taken at the Hollows and the trails were so beautiful that day… I wish you had been here to walk them with me!!! xoxo

I was there with you, as always. Time and distance are illusions.
