What are the odds?
Well, Toronto (excluding the larger GTA) has about 2.5 million people in it.
My best selling shirt has only sold around 90 prints. And probably an even smaller number to folk just in Toronto.
So, on the way to the coffee shop this morning to sit and draw like I do most days, imagine my surprise when I see a guy sitting at the very back of the tram wearing my Bacon shirt. Well, it was his shirt, but, ah you get it…
This is the first time ever I have seen one of my prints in the street, completely by chance. Completely and UTTERLY by chance. So I had to go down and shake the guy’s hand and say hello.

I had to calm myself before I could start sketching. I was shaking, wanting to tell anybody and everybody but couldn’t (I don’t have a mobile).

Yeah, he was. I probably shouldn’t have said ‘that’s my shirt’. Maybe he thought I was going to steal it right off his body?
He picked up on my accent though, and said ‘Yeah, I noticed they’re an Australian site, right?’ :o)

Wow, that’s freaky stuff. I have never experienced this personally but can only imagine how weird it would be. I warned you about the shirt i got of yours for my boyfriend in Windsor ON but i think you’re safe in that case as he’s coming down to Oz next year.
