and i have come to the conclusion
that it doesn’t matter what it is.
a woman, a work of art, a song, a tree, a cat,
my favorite possession or even money.
it doesn’t matter what.
it’s more than what you are in love with;
it’s the ability to love,
i have concluded to be essential.
the act is more important than the heir.
