The Black Swan is the only entirely black-coloured swan in the world. They form isolated pairs or small colonies in shallow wetlands. Birds pair for life, with both adults raising one brood per season. The eggs are laid in an untidy nest made of reeds and grasses. The nest is placed either on a small island or floated in deeper water. Canon 50D, 150-500mm F5-6.3 APO DG OS
a black attack !! great shot Deb, hope you had a lovely Christmas :))
Many thanks Trish, it was soooo windy too but the Swans were having a wonderful time flirting, bugling and being territorial. Quiet Xmas, waiting for my first grandchild to arrive on the scene! Best wishes for NY, hope it’s a good one!
