Two Khymer boys begging in Central Markets in Phnom Phen!
Canon 50D, EF70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM

Many thanks for checking out my photos, please feel free to give feedback! My wanderings in nature and observations of birds, particularly raptors, is what gives me great joy and constantly reminds me of the beauty and strength of life. My favourites are raptors, I love their freedom, grace, ruthlessness, pride, adaptability and flexibility and I learn much about parenting, protection and blind faith from them.

Great shot,,, BUT,,, Its so sad to see these kids, I have go to Cambodia ever 3 months for my visa, not good for them,,,, Still a great shot, well done

  • Many thanks Feesbay, yes it’s very sad and a poignant reminder of how fortunate we are in the west. I partly like to do those photos to remind people!

Agree,,, People do need to see,, Lot’s of us from Europe and USA complain about the little things in life, BUT when you see kids living like this,,, begging just for food and water,,, It make’s one waken up to what we do have,

Great capture. The hardship in their daily life shows on the older boys face. I remember only too well the begging children of Cambodia.

  • Many thanks, yes it’s a hard life and reminds us to be grateful!
