A Barn Owl hunts for prey in the late evening by the light of the moon. Barn Owls are moderately common, but generally hard to see, as they are mostly active at night. During the day, the birds roost on concealed tree branches. They are the most widespread and familiar of the owls. They are generally quiet, the common call being a 12 second rough, hissing screech. Wow this is gorgeous, the colour, the moon, is it a superimposed image or is it a flat photo?? very good if flat, very nice layout if two in one!! cheers
Thanks Heidi, it’s two photos …. one I took in the evening and the one of the owl … together I think they look better than individually!
