A NOTE FOR MAC USERS…
Mac users (generally) only have a single button mouse. You can use the following technique to access URL addresses neccessary for these techniques:
- Hold down the CTRL key and then click on the image.
- The drop down menu will now appear.
- Click on COPY IMAGE ADDRESS
- Follow rest of the process as described below…
TO POST AN IMAGE: (Part 1)
1. Locate the image you wish to post. It is best if your image has either the Clear GIF option turned off or is listed as “available for sale”.
2. Select the BUY/PREVIEW option.
3. Select the type of image you want, eg… Greeting Card, Laminated Print… etc. I usually pick the “Laminated Print” option with a white border because it looks nice and will also display your name in the Border Area.
4. Right-Click on the selected image and you will get a drop-down menu, choose PROPERTIES.
5. The “Properties Dialogue Box” will appear, now use your mouse to SELECT (highlight) the html (“Address / URL”) of the image. This is the bit that looks like:
http/ blah blah blah.jpg
If you can’t find it, it is the bit that ends with .JPG
6. Right-Click and select COPY from the drop-down menu.
7. Goto the forum or Bmail or wherever you want to post the image.
8. Right-Click in the Comments Box and select PASTE from the drop-down menu.
9. Put a ! at the start and the end of the pasted html. It will look like this but WITHOUT the spaces between the ! and the html. I have to put the spaces in here so I can show you what it looks like:
When you take out the spaces it will look like this:

TO POST AN IMAGE: (Part 2 – the BEST and EASIEST way!)
You can also select a thumbnail as the image you want to post.
The advantages with this technique are:
- You can specify the size that you want the image displayed as.
- You don’t have to mess around trying to remove the clear GIF option from your work, or making your work “Available for Sale” just so you can select the image from the BUY/PREVIEW pages.
Follow the process described above in Part 1 Step 4, but this time Right-Click on a thumbnail image selected from your VIEW ALL ART or BROWSE ART pages.
The URL has embedded in it a size-specifier. In the following example the specifier says size:small
http://images-3.redbubble.net/img/art/cropped/size:small/view:main/500307-6-the-boxer-1.jpg
The thumbnail looks like this:

You can use the following size specifiers:
- xsmall
- small
- medium
- large
- xlarge
A xsmall image:

A small image:

A medium image:

A large image:

TO CREATE A TEXT LINK:
1. Goto the page with the image you want.
2. SELECT and COPY the Address/URL from the Address Bar in your browser.
3. Goto the forum, Bmail or wherever you want to post the link.
4. Put some text in inverted commas, like this: “THE BOXER”
5. Then add a : (that’s a colon) then right-click PASTE the copied Address/URL.
It will look like this, but (say it with me, children)... WITHOUT the space between the 2nd inverted comma ( ” ) and the colon ( : )...
“THE BOXER” : http://www.redbubble.com/people/byron/art/500307-6-the-boxer-1
The result will look like this:
TO CREATE A GRAPHIC LINK:
1. Follow the process to POST AN IMAGE
2. Then follow the process to CREATE A TEXT LINK
3. Join the two bits of html with a : (a colon), it will look like this, but (you know it…)WITHOUT the spaces:
! http://images-3.redbubble.net/img/art/border:whitewithdetail/product:laminated-print/size:large/view:preview/500307-6-the-boxer-1.jpg ! : http://www.redbubble.com/people/byron/art/500307-6-the-boxer-1
The result looks like this:
You can now click on the image and it will take you to the page where that image is displayed.

Hey Byron, do you know how to make those picture tables people have on their home page, with the xsmall and links to pictures when clicked. Like a 4×10 array? I don’t need the link part just the part that puts it in a table. When I try it with the table separator (|) it doen’t line up. So what commands do you need to line up the array OK. If you or anyone else knows I’d appreciate it.

When I right-click on my image, no pop-up window appears. Does anyone know why?
BYRON replied
1. you must right-click on a thumbnail image in your BROWSE ART pages.
2. are you using Mac or PC?
Daniel Sorine
I use a Mac.
BYRON replied
Ok, I understand that you can not right-click your mouse with Macs. I could be wrong.
Does left-click on the thumbnail bring up a drop-down menu with PROPERTIES listed?
Daniel Sorine
Thanks for your help. Nothing seems to bring a drop-down menu.
BYRON replied
Wish I could help Daniel, but as much of a computer geek as I am, I know very little about Macs. I will see what I can find out and get back to you soon.
Daniel Sorine
You’re so nice!
BYRON replied
I know. I’ll let you know more when i find out what to do.

Hi Byron, very kind of you to share this! ... I am a Mac user as well though.. I’m not sure how to do this w/o right clicking. If I figure it out, I will post it here.
If not… I will be going to a friends who has a PC! ;)
BYRON replied
From what I have heard lately, if you are a Mac user, you need to use your CTRL key when you right-click an image to get the drop-down menu and access the PROPERTIES dialogue box.
Please let me know if this works so I can include it in the tutorial.
Tatum Wulff
GREAT NEWS BYRON!!!!!!!! It worked!!!!!!!!!
Basically I just held down the CTRL key and then clicked on the image, then the drop down menu appeared and I clicked on copy image address; then I went to where I wanted to paste it, added the exclamation marks at either end of the address, and voila, it worked!!!!!!!!
This is great! Thank you!!
BYRON replied
Awesome, thanx Tatum, I will now add this info to my Tutorial.
thanx again!

I use a mac book with just the touch pad – no mouse. But I’m pretty sure Mac users can’t “right click” btw. cheers!!
